    Hello,

I am trying to apply a ‘Color over Life’ with my particles which are Emitting off a Layer (composition with other layers inside) and it only seems to pick up the colors of the layer, where as I’d like set the colors myself but cannot do so as the ‘Set color’ option is greyed out.
Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks

Incase this problem wasn’t solved or anyone else has the same problem:

Look for the ‘Set Color’ option, changed the dropdown menu to ‘Over Life’

You will now be able to control the colours procedurally over the time scale.
A good starting point is to make the initial colour the same as your emitter layer’s colour, then go on to whatever you want.

    Sean-

read the OC again. “Set Color” is greyed out. This is apparently what happens when you have a layer emitter, so you’ll need to go to that layer and make any color alterations there, I guess. That sucks.
