Hey, I’ll get straight to the point. Having trouble with the effect in the sense that i want to add multiple “streaks” of light to the same composition of different colours. Whenever I get them to show they are all the same colour, have tried removing the BG layer but this changes that streak to white, whilst maintaining the other’s original colour. HAve tried different ways of adding the 2 compositions together but always with the same effect. The reason I cannot add the 2 together in a 3rd comp is because of the BG layer, which covers the underlying comp layer, and removing the BG of one comp removes the colour effect as I mentioned above. Anyone know a workaround or soemthing I am missing?

I’ll be tackling the problem atm and if I find a solution I’ll post it here, thanks all.

Yes I have otherwise i wouldnt know how to do it lol 😛 I figured it out anyways, its because in the tutorial you use an adjustment layer to add the colour, allowing easy manipulation/animation of the colour. If you bypass that and instead colour the “particle” layer solids directly, it fixes the problem, of course, animating colour change becomes a little longer but not particularly tricky.
