    Hello,

So I built a basic particle system using two sequential tiff files as my custom particles and set the time sampling to Split Clip – Loop. It seemed to be working fine but then I noticed the Split Clip option was duplicating frames at certain points making the animation look jumpy. I have been trouble shooting this for almost two days now and cant figure out what is causing the jumping.

Check out this render to see what I am talking about: https://www.fantasick.com/temp/Particular%20Split%20Clip%20%96%20Loop%20Glitchy.mov

Some things I have already tried:

Not a frame rate issue I quadruple checked everything
Not accidentally set to Split Clip – Stretch
Installed Particular 2.0 on another machine and still the same problem
Rebuilt the project using 3D solid layers instead of imported image sequence and still the same problem.
Reverted back to Particular 1.0 and the Split Clip option works fine

Anyway, I have no idea what is going wrong. I’m starting to think the copy of Particular 2.0 I have is broken somehow and I just need to get a new one. If anyone can shed any light on this problem I will be grateful.
    Thanks

Yes checked it multiple times. The clips are good loops. All the obvious stuff I checked and rechecked. The trouble shooting I have done points to a non-user related issue. But I cant be positive of that.
