ParticleIllusion to After Effects: no shadows
I created a candle light in particle illusion program and when I imported it to after effects and tried to create a shadow, it did not work (tried drop shadow, desaturation , and so on). I can’t seem to figure out how to create a shadow for particles from particle illusion in after effects. Nothing seems to work. Please, help, if anyone knows how.

Need more info to answer this. What you are doing is unclear to me becasue:
If the particles are light, then they wouldn’t cast their own shadow. THey would cause other objects to cast shadows – right?
so waht exactly are you trying to do?
