    Hello!

I’m running Particle Illusion 3.0.4.1 on a Dell Inspiron 1764, Intel i5 system 7.75 ghz, with 4gb of ram, 64 bit operating system, Windows 7.

The problem i’m having is when I import video as my background image, the Particle Illusion ‘stage’ window stays black or shows the desktop image in the stage window. The rest of the program seems to maintain functionality. I have attempted multiple file types and resolutions and the only progress i have made is with a 720 x 480 .avi lowered to half resolution and i then get an image though it shows up as a multiple image four times horizontal and is in a dotted gray scale with lots of grain.

Any ideas whats going on and what im doing wrong?

I’ve used this version of Particle Illusion on another computer with resounding success in Windows Vista…is Windows 7 the problem?

    Thanks!

No, Win 7 is fine. Sounds like you need to update your video drivers though.

Get the latest drivers from your card manufacturer’s website.
