Had Particle Illusion already but just bought the After Effects version and it’s flippin’ out. I crashed twice already and just started to play with it. What’s the word on this plugin? Is there a history of bugginess? Are there settings I should avoid or something?

Some of the things which are happening to me are, the background is insisting to be white for a while when first applied. When I try to animation the position often the whole image will severely stretch and skew. One time I animated an emitter to zigzag across the screen and near the end of it one of the particle elements keeps appearing for one frame in the middle of the screen. Particle elements suddenly get tiny. Then of course there were the crashes. Once I got an error which said something about OpenGL. Any ideas? Is this typical?

UPDATE: Okay apparently it wigs out when you apply the effect to an Adjustment Layer with no other layers below it. And it crashes when you use it with OpenGL turned on. Seems to work okay if I avoid these two. Can anyone confirm either or both of these?
