Parenting track matte to null makes the layer below move
I have tracking data from Mocha pasted to a null object. Then I have a track matte that is parented to this null. I’m masking a “hole” to a layer, so that I can remove something and have a clean image underneath.. it’s a moving camera shot.
The problem is, when I parent the track matte to the null, it also seems to connect the layer below the track matte to the null, so that it moves along. Is there a way to “break” this connection between the track matte and the layer below?
I’m on CS6 by the way..

Okay, I found the problem already.. the layer below the track matte wasn’t really moving, but appeared so because the matte layer was moving a lot with the tracker, and it was cutting the edges of the image. Making a lot bigger solid for the matte layer removed the problem..
