parenting menu broken
hey guys,
suddenly my parenting menu won’t work and i can’t parent anything to anything else. it simply refuses to “drop down” so i can select a parent.
seems to be in just this project, all of a sudden. i can’t go back to a previous version because then i lose stacks of changes. i tried trashing my prefs and that didn’t work. i tried rearranging or resetting my workspace and that didn’t work.
has anyone ever experienced this? what the hell can i do if i can’t use the parenting dropdown in the timeline? -

have you tried using the pickwhip instead?
toggling F4 opens different sections of the timeline.Nicholas Toth

i solved the problem by precomping some layers therby reducing the vertical height of my timeline. the more i got rid of the more visible the parenting menu became on screen. weird glitch… but i’m okay now. hope it doesn’t happen again!
