  • Parent an X,Y location to another objects rotation

I’ve got a piece of text rotating and I want to parent an object’s XY location to the corner of one of the letters spinning around. It’s important that I don’t parent the whole object because I don’t want it to rotate. I just want it to match the XY location as the letter is rotating. Thoughts?

You can parent the whole object, then pick whip the rotation value of the parent for the child object and make it negative with a minus sign at the beginning of the expression. This will result in the desired behavior, since the child will be rotated in the opposite direction by the same amount.
