I need some help with entering paragraph type so that it wraps. I have looked at the help file (To enter paragraph type) but must be doing something wrong.

I can draw the text box and then enter text, but when my text gets to the end of the line it doesn’t wrap down, but just condenses along the same line. No matter what I do I can’t get it to act in any other way. I have tried changing the justification settings as well as hyphenation.

This is driving me insane because I can’t figure out what I’m missing and I need to get this project finished. Please help!!

Make sure the text box is stretched tall enough to have multiple lines and that you have the text box selected for entering text. Don’t click outside the text box with the Type tool as it will start a new text object.

Also, make sure your leading is not set too tight.

Thanks Guys, I’ve tried both of these suggestions and still it makes no difference. Even pressing Enter to create manual line breaks doesn’t make a difference. Any other ideas out there?
