panning
I’m quite new at Vegas Pro 13 but I’m getting the hang of it. However, I’m stuck on one simple feature. I clicked the square on a clip (making the square green) and worked with the pan/zoom feature. Now I want to get out of that feature (because I’ve decided I don’t want to zoom). However, I thought it would be a simple matter of clicking the green square once more to turn off the feature. That doesn’t work. I checked the pan menu and nowhere is there a place to turn it off. It’s probably something simple. If anyone can help, I’d appreciate it!

Actually it’s not that simple. You need to undo whatever it is that you did. If you created keyframes you should select all of them and delete them. The first keyframe is permanent and will not delete. This one will need to be reset. To do this, select the first keyframe, then right-click on the frame in the Pan/Crop window and select Restore from the popup menu. Close the window and you should see the square icon turn from green to grey again.

Thanks so much for your help. It should be something much more simple, I agree. Perhaps Sony can work on this little glitch.
