  • Pan/Crop on still photos causes image to flicker…

Posted by Jerry Neal on March 23, 2009 at 8:20 pm

    Hello,

When using Pan/Crop on stills, the image (still photo) seems to flicker a bit and the zooming motion is not quite smooth. Is there something I need to adjust regarding my settings. These are JPEG photos that I imported into my timeline.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

Just make sure those images are not too high
a resolution (if they are, first downsize them
    in an image editor).
Then you right click on each image in the vegas
timeline and select “reduce interlace flicker
before rendering and also make sure that the rendering
    quality is set to “best
