Activity Forums VEGAS Pro PAN/CROP all the clips in the timeline

Just run a script that resets the Pan/Crop on all clips. Then they will all be back to full screen. No need to “copy/paste attributes”. Just reset the Pan/Crop settings. (And, yes, Excalibur can do that as well).

Vegas extensions have a few directories that they run from but the easiest one to remember is My Documents\Vegas Application Extensions. So create a Vegas Application Extensions folder if one does not already exist in My Documents and put all three files in there.

You will find Black Tools under the Tools -> Extensions menu in Vegas. Use the Copy button in the extension (not Vegas copy or Ctrl-C) and then use the Paste Attributes button (as opposed to the Paste button which just does the effects chain.) A window will pop up and only check VideoMotion if Pan/Crop settings are all you want to paste.

You are welcome. I am sure the Paste Attributes feature will come in handy sometime in the future especially since you do a lot of complicated things to your timeline events.

If you want to dive further in to what you can do with Black Tools (for example the macro section is why I built it in the first place. No more need to ask “Is there a scrip for this?”) send me questions or feedback to
