PAN/CROP all the clips in the timeline
hello everybody!
ive been working on this very big and complicated project lately.its a tutorial video that has two windows of different sizes on screen, playing two videos that are perfectly syncked with each other.theres also a lot of effects, transitions, slow motions etc…the video is 40+ minutes long and its fragmented into 1000+ pieces(to say the least)
what i want to do now is export each video individually(without any cropping or panning) so that i have two already edited full-screen videos that i can then position, pan and crop at my leisure in a new session of vegas.
if i were to pan one clip to full screen and then copy paste its attributes to all the others i would loose all the slow motion effects(and i cant afford that because this whole video has a very fragile balance…the voice,1st video and 2nd video need to be syncked down to a tee in order for it to work.)
i know what i could have done from the get go to avoid being in this situation now,but its too late…it is what it is and i gotta make it work with what i got.i searched the internet for a solution but it seems like theres no way to chose WHICH attributes to copy(it seems like its a “package deal”)
so what im asking you guys is if anyone has any creative/unorthodox methods for achieving what i need?
i included a screenshot to give you an idea of what im working with…basically i want both clips exported as separate full screen videos.
the only workaround i could think of was to add a neon pink/green background, mute all the channels except for “video 1” and export it like that(and then do some chroma keying) and repeat for video 2…but i really dont wanna go this route.
any thoughts?maybe im missing something?
any help would be greatly appreciated
