Panaxonic HPX170 & FCPX
This Pannie HPX170 is not on the list of supported cameras for FCPX, although it’s sister camera, 200 is. Is there no way I can import clips direct from the camera?

I just imported P2 from a HD170.

Import works fine here! Just click on the Camera icon and navigate to the folder where the P2 data lives…

So are you guys saying that you can import P2 straight into FCPX, with no card reader? I’ve had a 5 card reader for the past year but had to give it back along w/ computer…so P2 and FCPX is the only affordable option right now, and it’d be great to confirm that you don’t have to have a card reader.
