Panasonic HPX500 Menue for LCD Display
I just purchased a used HPX500. The LCD Display appears to be 4×3 while in HD mode, and also is MCR (reading the Card) mode. It says it is in AUTO in Blue, but the LCD screen is not automatically changing over to 16×9 or leterbox. Blue seems to be the “lock out” you cant change me color in the menu. Has anyone seen this before? How can I correct this. The manual says the LCD screen will automatically change over its aspect ratio when it senses it. Not happening.

Make sure the output is set for HD 1080p or 720 and check the record format is in HD as well.
