Panasonic BT-LH1700W 17″ Monitor
Posted by David Linstrom on January 6, 2007 at 1:07 amI just recieved the Panasonic BT-LH1700W 17″ monitor but I hate the stand that it comes with. Has anyone designed a better stand? Something that screws into the back and lets the viewer tilt it up?

January 8, 2007 at 5:20 pmI thought I should come in here. A friend sent me this thread.
Oppenheimer Camera Products builds a great Monitor Yoke Mount for the Panasonic 1700.
It mounts to the monitor with 6 screws (provided), allows use of the Hoodman, mounts
onto a baby or junior stand, centers all the weight over the stand, and allows full
tilt up or down.We sell directly, or both Abel and Band Pro have been selling our units.
Looking to expand further and we are talking with the Panasonic Flagship Dealer in Atlanta.
List price, set to go is $395.
BTW, Innerspace Cases in LA builds a very nice case for the monitor with our Yoke Mount.
We also have a unit for the Panasonic 2600, and we are working on units for the brand new
JVC 20″ and 24″.Marty Oppenheimer

January 9, 2007 at 11:12 pmWe also have the Abel unit, which we bought with their kitted out Anvil case. Very nice configuration. You can also get an extra mount to go onto a c-stand.

January 10, 2007 at 3:34 amI think I’m going to have to order one of those. Can you leave the mount on and still put it in the portabrace bag?
