I have seen one updated 3000 that has the ability to output 1080psf 23.98 over HDSDI ….
I do not believe that it is not a user update however.

Is that a double negative? What kind of slander doust thou speaketh. Blaspheme!

Last time I had my hands on one, it did not output 23.98 psf, but it sure did record it in AVC-I. I thought it was the weirdest thing since sliced pepperoni. It would not surprise me if a firmware update did change it, although the latest manual still states that 1080i is output to HDSDI. That really doesn’t mean much in todays download-a-feature dot bombs.
