Panasonic AG-HVX and Timecode
I have a Panasonioc AG-HVX200P and want to sync a portable,high-resolution audio recorder with time code. The camera uses firewire. The audio devices use BNC or Lemo type of connector. Does anyone have a solution to make the sync work? I want to set free run TC to both then disconnect and match audio up with TC in edit.

With an HVX200 you can’t do a frame accurate sync as there’s no tc out, but you can do TOD tc and start the devices separately. You will be a few frames off, but once you know that offset, it’s easy to shift everything in post by a few frames.
