  Panasonic AG-DVX100b playback is jumpy and choppy

  Hello,
  My Panasonic AG-DVX100b has recently had some issues. I recorded an event and when I played it back the footage was choppy and the audio was, too. Nothing seemed unusual during the recording. I used another camera to transfer the footage and it played fine on it, except for one tape- it was choppy and wouldn’t play more than a couple of minutes.

  I tried a head cleaning tape and it made no difference. The price to send it in to have it looked at and fixed is almost more than the camera is worth. Does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas of what I can do to fix it? Maybe it’s an easy fix that I don’t know about and I don’t want to put the money into it if I can figure it out.
