Ive just had an incredibly odd and annoying error occur.

I imported my clips as normal to ProRes, all clips showed up OK, I started editting. 1 day in, I get to clip#56 and huh.. its the same as clip#1… I look more and the 10 subsequent clips are all NAMED 57 58 59 but are infact clips 2 3 4 and 5 etc.

So I go back to my Log and Transfer window, and sure enough, clip 56# is there, with the footage I was expecting!!! No clips lost.. but somehow, from pressing “Add selection to queue” the import has decided to reimport earlier clips with new names!

    Is this a known issue?

BTW I realise that maybe this is a FCP forum question, not a Panasonic question…

    Hmm..

I use both, the Panasonic AF-100 and FCP7, but I have not run across this error.

Keep in mind that FCP7 and below are now “unsupported products” by their maker. We are bound to run into more errors as we try to ingest newer technologies into them.
