Logged and transfered 60i footage just fine for one project.

Taped a video last night in 1920/60p setting on the Panasonic AG-AC90

Can’t find anywhere in the sequence settings 60p and the footage will not log and transfer. Is there a way to get FCP7 to read this footage without my having to go to an outside program?

If not are there any free conversion programs?

    Thanks

FCP will not Log and Transfer 1080p60. Unsupported format. There is W0ndershare, but I have zero experience with that. I rely on ClipWrap2 for AVCHD…costs $50, but is amazing.

    Thanks Mr. LaRonde and Ross,

Mr. R. do you know if FCPX supports 1080/60p? If so I might finally be able to convince my manager to let us buy it.

That creates another question. Will FCPX work with 10.6.8 with FCP7 on it at the same time? Or is that crossing the streams?

    It does.

Nope. FCX requires the latest OS. You’ll have to upgrade to Mavericks.
