  Panasonic 250 DVCPRO deck not Printing to Tape on FCP 7

  At work we just got FCP 7 on OS 10.6 at our edit stations and we have FCP connected to a Panasonic AJ-D250 DVCPRO Deck. I can capture fine, but I can’t Print to Tape on the deck. I found out it wasn’t compatible, but someone told me I can get firmware for the deck, but I’m not sure what kind of firmware to get and where to get it from.

  I did try a Panasonic 255 deck and that printed to tape fine, but we only have one deck of those and we mostly have 250 decks and we need them for our edit stations.

  If anyone could help that would be great.
