Activity Forums VEGAS Pro pan across panoramic photo?

  • pan across panoramic photo?

I have Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6 and I would like to pan across a panoramic photo. So far it only wants to show the entire photo on the screen with large black bands on the top and bottom, for however long it is in the timeline. I would like to see it pan across the photo, as if a video camera was paning across a scene.

    Thanks,

    Rodney

Open Pan/Crop on that event. Now, right-click the image in the Pan/Crop window and choose “Match Output Aspect”. Next you need to set the starting location on the first keyframe and the ending position on the last keyframe. I’m not sure if the “Movie Studio” version allows more than two keyframes. If it does, you can set up all kinds of panning. If not, you’ll be limited to a single line. The full version does allow as many keyframes as needed.
