  PAL—> NTSC

  I need to covert a PAL dvd to NTSC…

  I already removed the region coding on the dvd so i could play it ….

  my strategy is to use MPEG Streamclip to convert the VOB files to Quicktime

  and then use the G Standards Converter to do the conversion….

  I’m a little confused on the settings I should set on MPEG Streamclip

  and then I’m confused about how to apply the G Standards Plug In in FCP 4.5 — i tried following the instructions, but there’s something amiss

  can anybody lead me through the process, or recommend a better way…..?

  is it possible to use an international play anything on anything dvd player and just dub it right onto a NTSC dv camera and then load it into FCP and remaster it as an NTSC dvd?
