PAL media converted by fcp into NTSC sequence
I digitized PAL footage as PAL but edited it in a sequence set to NTSC. Can I trust this conversion or do I need to redigitize as NTSC?

You can use compressor to do a standards conversion, or use the excellent Nattress plug-in. Doing what you suggest will not fix the differences in frame rate, and may cause scaling issues due to the different number of lines.

Are you suggesting that I should go back and convert my PAL media to NTSC, then relink it to the stuff in my project timeline? Or are you saying I can export what I have for conversion?
