PAL Broadcast standards
Hello one and all
I read somewhere that the legal broadcast levels for NTSC were something like:
black 16
white 235(RGB values)
Does anyone know if there are similar restrictions on PAL broadcast in UK?

When working in a totaly digtial environment, the same 8Bit RGB values apply for both NTSC and PAL. It’s only when going back to analog you need to deal with the IRE levels; for example 16RGB = 7.5IRE for NTSC and 0 for PAL and NTSC-J (Japan).
