paint stroke tool erase?
Is there a way to erase a section of a paint stroke but keep the rest? I’m using the write on tool & need to clear a section in the center of the stroke. but keep the stroke the same. I know a matte may be one option but I was curious of any sort of erase tool. Cheers!

Hi Michael
If I’ve understood you correctly, I think what you need to do is duplicate your paint stroke and then set the “shape outline” on the duplicated version to “erase” – you can then use the “stroke offset” to create a gap in your stroke.
Or did you have something else in mind?
