Page turns /spheres and all
There must be some bright spark who knows the answer to this:
Does anyone know of any 3D shape filters that would work within Motion, FCP6 and perhaps After Effects. Page turns, the highly used filter of the 90’s is almost a thing of the past.
If not then perhaps any alternative work flows to get flowing magazine drop backs in 3D space.

You might want to take a look at the free try-out of theBoris Continuum Complete set of filters. There’s a range of 3D shapes for you there.
Boris has also announced a new version that will be Apple’s FXPlug instead of After Effects compatible, with a buy now upgrade free offer.
I haven’t tried these filters in Motion 3 yet, but they are a staple part of my After Effects diet.

Thanks Ben, have downloaded the demo version to give it a whizz.Unfortunately I have most of the boris filters in sapphire, not that these are showing up in motion.
