    Hi,

In blender, I’m used to being able to pack all my textures and source images into the build document, so that anyone on any computer can work on it without having to update the location of these build elements. Effectively I only need to send them one file.

Is there a way of doing this in after effects?

Although I file and organise any new projects I make nice and neatly, sometimes I will source textures/clips from various past projects. Filespace is at a premium, so it isn’t feasible to simply make copies of these files and drop them in the current project file.

So to sum up – would love a way to pack all the build files inside the after effects build document.

I’d appreciate any ideas/solutions you have to offer!

In After Effects, this is called Collect Files.

Please note that this will not include fonts or third-party effects, which must be installed and licensed separately.
