P2/SxS HD Files in FCP 4.5
Does anyone know if FCP HD 4.5 can edit with P2/SxS Panasonic/Sony HD files? I am used to working in Avid but have a request to work from home on a particular project. I have Final Cut HD 4.5 at home but have never worked with anything other than tape. If it’s possible what steps do I need to take to import the files? Any conversion needed? Thanks so much for the help; I really appreciate it.

Sorry, P2 support didn’t arrive to FCP until 5.0.4, and didn’t get rock solid until FCP 5.1.4, and SxS didn’t arrive until 6.0.3 or 6.0.4. If you want to work with these formats you will need to upgrade to the latest version.
