p2card transfering
i got a brand spanking new macbookpro, the one with 128mb video ram.
I am doing simple video playback, transfer, and backup on a tv commercial next week.
they are shooting 1080i. i have never had problems doing this on 720p shoots, with a standard lacieFW800 drive work well for this as well?
thanks for the info.
p.s. i just need to be able to view the footage realtime, we wont be doing any color corection or editing on set.

1080i 29.97 is the exact same bandwidth as 720p60, so, yes.
