P2 to final cut pro issues
I am editing on fcp 5 and have imported some footage from P2 shot at PAL 1440×1080 HD 25fps and dslr 1920×1080 HD 25fps.
Firstly the audio/video settings do not seem to have a dvcpro anamorphic 25 setting, am i doing something wrong?
secondly do you have advice on getting my footage to edit seemlessly together…as i have learnt my lesson about getting the perfect settings the hard way in the past

Your footage is HD, you should edit in HD.
Drop a clip from the P2 footage into a new emty sequence and let FCP set the sequence settings for you.What did you bring the DSLR footage in as?

well basically i just did file > import p2 and for dslr i did file > import straight from my canon folder
only thing is the setting fcp had was dv-pal which i didnt think did HD? will it affect the quality by export time?
