    Hi,

We have just picked up the new HVX202, and have been doing some shooting in the last week. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the peculiar file naming convention for files shot on P2?

I have been handed 15 cards worth of shots (170 odd shots), and can find no rhyme nor reason as to why the shots are named that way. Is there any way to change how the camera names the files?

    Cheers

The first 4 numbers are numerical order in which the clips were shot on THAT card, and the last 2 are random. 0001HC, 0002B6, 0003NX. This is to ensure that you will not have the same clip name twice. When the capture switches to the second card, the naming starts over at 0001.
