June 28, 2006 at 3:09 pmHi,
You can contact me off list at crittendenj at us.panaosnic.com. I think what I want to see is a DVD of this CONTENTS folder, if possible. Perhaps you could wean the files that do import out of the folders, leaving the ones that do not, and then copy it to a DVD?
See you in the inbox.
Best,
jan

June 28, 2006 at 3:13 pmGoing through firewire has been problematic for me with the P2s I kept getting the same kind of error message you’re getting when I was trying to capture from the camera into FCP.
After trying everything I could think of, I finally switched firewire cables and voila, the clips imported without a problem. Have you tried changing out the firewire cable between your Mac and the G-Raid or maybe trying firewire 400 (if the G-Raid has the connection.)
If it’s not difficult, why do it?

June 30, 2006 at 5:57 amIf you have a PC try Raymaker from dvfilm.com
you can import just the .mxf files.
I have to do this with files that get sent
to me with missing folders and such.Mike Schrengohst
