    Hi All

Hope someone can help me. I have clips shot on HPX500 at 720×576 Standard def. I transferred them directly from the card to a firewire drive via a G4 Powerbook. I then imported the files from the folder on the drive into FCP. Looking at the files in FCP project I noticed one file did not import. I went back to log and transfer window in FCP. The file doesn’t show up in list of clips to import. How do I get it into FCP when all the others appear quite happily. (No clips were deleted during the shoot this is the Video XMF file which shows up). (G5 Desktop machine, though the copy from card to drive was done on Powerbook G4).

Second point. When trying to re-import the files into FCP on my MacBookPro none of the files show up. I have selected custom path and I have tried de-selecting ‘remove advanced pulldown’ from the log and transfer preferences.

I hope someone can help because I can’t afford to be losing the odd clip from my footage for no apparent reason.

    Cheers

    Frank
