    P2 log and transfer fail to load some rushes

    Hi,

    I’ve search in the forum but couldn’t find any solution. Please help. I’ve received a hard disk with “CONTENTS” folder and other subfolder for P2 in it. I use the log and transfer (FCP 7.0.3) to ingest these rushes.

    I check the “VIDEO” subfolder and there are 41 rushes altogether. But when this folder loaded in log and transfer window, only 38 rushes manage to load. 3 rushes fail to load. Any ideas why this happen?

    SPANNED clips. P2 cards have a 4GB file size limit. Any footage that goes beyond that will break up into multiple files. But FCP will stitch them together when you import.
