Did not see a forum for P2 issues, so posting here.

I have not upgraded my mb pro OS past Tiger because I use my Duel Adapter/express card slot for importing P2 media into FCP.

This summer, I would like to upgrade to Lion. Any ideas on the best workflows for ingesting P2 into my laptop after that?

    thanks,

    mike

Well, until it comes out, we really can’t say. As we have no clue..until we use it.

Panasonic has a single card reader for $260. It’s reliable in Snow Leopard…very reliable. Just used it.

Thanks, Shane. Kind of what I figured but I thought some people might have some inside knowledge. The only Panasonic reader I find online is for about $340. do you have a model number on that?

    hi guys,
i need help. just got a new macbook pro and it came with lion preinstalled. also just got a panasonic P2 card reader. unfortunately, the drivers that come with the reader are all for older operating systems and there doesn’t seem to be any drivers, or info, available anywhere…not ever the panasonic website. i can’t be the only one having this problem. any suggestions?

    Casey,

I’m in the same boat. Seems we’re out at sea ’till Panasonic does something new. Terribly frustrating. Will keep you posted if I hear anything, please do the same!
