P2 Import problems clips Idle
I am having problems importing some clips with the new FCP P2 importer.
Some of my clips are not importing and coming up as Idle.
I know the clips are ok because I can play them back in the Importers
viewer.
Has anybody had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Annoying isn’t it. It would appear that the checkbox for “remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames” check box is on by default. If your material is shot 24Pn then apparently this checkbox prevents FCP from importing the clip. If you right click on a shot in your import window and select “preferences” and uncheck that box you should be fine. Can’t find any documentation as to this checkbox needing to be unchecked, but it works none the less.
