P2 import hiccup
I am working off of a PowerBook G4, FCP 5.1.4.
I’ve been ingesting P2 footage via the card slot directly into FCP for about a year now with little to no problem.
I recently installed the crossgrade version of FCP on this machine and I am having problems with the P2 import window.
When I go to Import>Panasonic P2, the first time I select it nothing happens. The second time I select it a window pops up titled “RAD Ingest”, but there’s no other information on it – completely blank. There are what appears to be four distinct panels but no information.
On my G5 desktop, I installed the same version of FCP and when I select Import>Panasonic P2 for this application, I get an “Import Panasonic P2” window.
It seems to me the same window should be appearing on my laptop but somewhere along the line something is happening?
Any thoughts?
I’ve also recently downloaded the driver and installed it to no avail.

Solved with a reinstall.
