P2 Import
Hello
I have an issue with importing my P2 footage. Everything works fine up until i open FCP and the import P2 window. Some shots of the footage i had filmed went into fcp just fine, but the most important and longest clip does not. I add it to the queue and let it finish loading, but when its done nothing has happened. The footage does not appear in my Browser. I checked the capture scratch folder a clip with the same code was there but it was exactly 4GB, and when i tried to open it quicktime gave me an error message saying that it was not a movie clip. Does anyone know what to do? The footage is for an important school project and re-shooting would be very difficult.

How is your media drive formatted? Fat32? Needs to be Mac OS Extended. a 4GB file points to the file size limit of Fat32.
