Posted by Freeroad on May 3, 2007 at 4:38 amI recently shot P2 footage @ 720 PN @ 24fps.
How can I have this footage run at normal speed?

May 3, 2007 at 2:58 pm720.24pN does run at normal speeds.
You didn’t mention which NLE you use, but we generally shoot to cards at 24pn and drop is into a FCP 720/24p sequence and edit.

May 3, 2007 at 4:41 pmYou could have had it set up for over or under cranking on accident. Is everything in slow motion?

May 4, 2007 at 11:54 amWe shot at 720p 30PN @24fps on accident.
So everything is a bit Charlie Chaplinesque.
Any ideas how to bring things back to normal speed?

May 4, 2007 at 4:33 pmYou could try bringing a clip into Cinema Tools and and conforming it to 23.98. This won’t take out any frames, it will just retime the 30 frames a second to take place over 24 frames a second instead. So your clip will get longer.
I’m not sure how this will effect your audio though. What ever you do, make a copy of your footage before you start playing around with it. Give this a try though.
