P2 footage to SD output
Hey everyone many thanks in advance. I have imported a couple of hours of P2 footage that was shot for a project. 1280×1080 DVCPRO HD 1080P30. The footage needs to go to DBeta Anamorphic Squeezed through my BM DeckLink card. So I have my BM Output processing preference set to “HD to SD Anamorphic 16×9” And my playback settings in FCP set to “Blackmagic HDTV 1080i 29.97hz 8bit(1920×1080)”. When doing this everything is great except some horizontal tearing in the image almost like a missing line. So bad aliasing in high contrast areas. This goes away when I set my Blackmagic pref setting to letterbox downconvert and it looks great. Saying that I need this in anamorphic…any thoughts
