P2 footage gets darker upon import
When I import my P2 footage into FCP, the brightness decreases from when I preview it in the Log and Transfer Window. I compare the canvas window and the preview Log and Transfer Window and the brightness is dramatically different, same monitor.
Has this happened to anyone else and why does it do this?
Is there any way to fix this?Thank you in advanced.

Can likely be due to your sequence settings…
Check how you are setting up your sequence… Use Easy Setups to match footage…
Also.. don’t make a damn bit of difference how it looks on computer screen… hook up broadcast monitor.
