    I’ve been approached by a client to cut a show that was shot on P2 format @ 720p 24fps. They’re hoping to offline on FCP at my shop and then take the offline into a Flame room for vfx and color grading. Basically I need to export the shots out of my timeline as tga sequences (they have an older version of Flame that doesn’t support DVCPRO HD). Does anybody have any suggestions re workflow?

    Ask the Flame operator who will be doing the grading. They all know exactly what they want from you – but they all seem to want things a little differently than the last guy.

    From the FCP side make sure to turn off “add space before number” in the ouput of your image sequence. And don’t use any spaces or characters besides underscore in your file name.
