I am stuck here. I did a video recording over several hours that spanned multiple P2 cards. I copied the entire contents of the card to my hard drive. I imported the footage into Premiere via Media Manager. (Then making sure that i’ve imported correctly, I format the card and place it back in the camera) When I look at the various clips from subsequent cards (say cards 3 and 4), Premiere displays multiple versions of the earliest recordings, that is whatever was on card 1.

If I look directly at the footage on the P2 card the recording is correct.

My guess is that since the camera recording is never stopped, premiere sees all of the spanned files as one very long movie file. I think that the database that keeps track of the files is some how confused.

As stated earlier, I copied the files onto my hard drives and then just imported. I did not use P2 Viewer to ingest. Is this a problem and if so, can I fix it after the fact as the cards have been formatted and no longer in my possession.

    I hope this made sense.
