P2 contents management software
Hello
Just bought HVX200 with P2 card. I manage to get everything on my Macbook via Firewire but two questions seems not to work
1) I could only read 576I format every HD format gives me only the thumbnails and thats all
2) how can I export from P2 contents management software to IMovie or Final Cut so as to reduce the size

Get imovie out of the equation- you do not use imovie with an HVX200. In FCP use the log and transfer window on each of the folders P2 CMS creates.

I ll throw Imovie and wait until i go back home to have FCP but even though, P2 content manager seems to read only DV and never HD.Hope i am not missing something

P2CMS on the Mac requires FCP to be installed before HD clips will work. If you’re using it on a Mac that doesn’t have FCP, that would explain it.
