P2 Contents Folder crashing FCP on the
I had to offload a P2 Contents folder onto another drive. When I try to open it in the Log and Transfer window, FCP crashes.
Any ideas on how to get my footage in a usable state?
I’ve repaired permissions on the disk…
I have also tried to open the same contents folder with another FCP installed on a different computer and I get the same reaction.your help appreciated.

Try putting the Contents folder inside another folder, and don’t forget the txt file that matches it. It too needs to be in that same new folder (you can call this folder anything you want too… then import that new folder which contains both.
