I’m trying to do a workflow test for a new production that is very particular, and I’ve run into a drifting sync problem. Here are the details. This project was shot using the Panasonic HVX-200 at 23.976fps. The audio was recorded using a Cantar at 29.97fps, which fed audio LTC to the camera. I have 2 sets of BWF’s (a mono track for offline edit and a 4-track for sound edit) I’ve used FCPauxTC to swap the video TC for the Aux TC (LTC), did an assemble edit in FCP at 23.98fps, exported an omf, QT at 24fps and an EDL for audio conform with Titan. The sound edit will be done in Protools. The test was done today and apparently there is drifting sync on some of the longer clips. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
    Thanks in advance,
    Phyllis

Surely your reference QT file should be 23.976 not 24. This will cause drift of .1% which you will only notice on long clips.
