    Hello All…

I just checked and found that P-Pro 1.51 is missing TWO handy-dandy buttons that my editor used daily in Premiere v6

    1) The first one has an official name of “Processing a batch of Projects” and it was accessed under:
Projects > Utilities > Batch processing.
(see page 337 of the Premiere V6 User manual.)

    2) The next one was when one Grabbed and exported a STILL from the timeline, there was the ability to preview the image on the screen (to check for interfield jitter, etc.) — NOW with P-Pro, there is NO on-screen preview, not even as an option. My editor needs to be able to see the image to confirm it’s quality, etc.

    WHERE did these functions go?
Did they disappear with the re-write from Pv6 to P-Pro?
HOW can I get the functionality back?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated…

    Thanks,

    Jack

The batch process never made it into Premiere Pro. I highly suggest that you join the people who have written Feature Requests.

Being able to see the quality of a still was nice, too true. It is not possible currently, but a feature request could help here as well. Although I imagine that your editor would get used to an extra step of double-clicking on the result in the Project Window (assuming you automatically add it to the project).

Premiere Pro was written from scratch, so many things never got done, or were left out in favor of something else.
